Whenever I try to log onto my AKO account for the Army, internet explorer says that there is a problem with this websites security certificate. Is there any way that I can add this website to a approve list or something like that so I dont have to click continue anyways every single time ? Any help will do. I always use firefox and I dont want to download it on this laptop so I was going to see if there is any work around. Thanks
Certificate security error on internet explorer?windows 98
With Internet Explorer open, click "Tools" and the top. When the sub-menu opens, scroll down and Click "Internet Options." A window will open. At the top of that Window, click the "Security" tab. You should see 4 icons. Click the one with the green circle with the check mark inside it marked "Trusted Sites." Just below the 4 icons click the button that reads "Sites..." A "Trusted Sites" dialog will open. Type the name of your Army site and click the button marked "Add." You may need to uncheck the box marked "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone", cant remember. Then click OK, then click OK again. Now close your browser, reopen it and go to the site in question. If it still asks for the certificate permission, go back and toggle the checkbox I mentioned earlier.
