HELP ! Internet Explorer Script Error. It's driving me crazy!!?

Every e-mail that I get from my Dad has the IE Script Error. "An error has occured in the script on this page." Line,Char, Error, Code, URL, Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? It doesn't matter if I click on "yes" or "no" , the e-mail still comes up; which isn't a problem, but I just want this problem fixed!! I have checked the "disable script debugging %26amp; unchecked the "display a notification about every script error. Nothing has worked so far. Please help !!! :(

The error is in the code written by the email server of your dad, not in IE. If you use Yahoo, and he uses Hotmail, it is Hotmail's fault: write to them, report the fault. They MAY do something about it.

IE is good for this: it reports any script error it encounters. Others, like Firefox, just stop executing the "hidden" script (and you may not get the page correctly).

If you don't want that error to show, go to tools, internet settings, advanced, and unmark "warn of script errors".

Unfortunately, there are so many bad programmers around (even in big places like Yahoo!), and so many bad browsers, that it has become very difficult to cater for all possible errors, and these msg keep popping up... The programmer MUST change the code.

my Compaq gives me that crap, then I reboot and all is well for a few days. I was told it's coming from to much stuff on the memory, hope that helps ya.

run the defragment sometime, it compresses the things you have on there but seldomly use, making more room.
Ok, the page you are opening contains a script error. As simple as that. It's not IE's fault. You should not disable scripting in your browser just because a certain web page contains a scripting error. It is up to the people who coded the page to fix their page instead.

Hope this helps.
