How comes every time I close internet explorer an error message pops up?

Just got a new comp with Vista on it and every time I close I.E it says "Internet explorer has stopped working" and then it automatically re-opens. Not a major problem but quite annoying. Is this a Vista thing, or just me?

Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

start--%26gt;settings--%26gt;control panel--%26gt;add/remove programs

from the list select internet explorer and click on remove and select repair
Just go to Windows Update in the start menu and install all updates needed. Most things work fine after windows updates the whole computer.This happened to me before when I first got Vista.

Try ctrl alt and delete and go to end task. That is they only thing i can think of, hope it helps.
