Internet Explorer says Application Error?

I have WinXP Media Center Edition with SP2. Whenever I close my Internet Explorer (Ver 6.0) a IEXPLORER.EXE-Application Error windows comes up. Says The instruction at" 0x62304390" referanced memory at "ox62304390". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program. I only have one option to Click OK !

Though I can use the Inter Explorer without any issues, its working absolutely fine, but this issue remains.

Also, this error message comes up when I have closed my final Explorer out of many.

I have, though not because of this reason, formatted my laptop and reinstalled windows 3 times, but this problem will stay.

I was getting the same messages after I closed all my windows. I did two things. First I went to "Tools" and the "Internet Options" and deleted all files - BE SURE TO CHECK THE OFFLINE CONTENT ALSO - then I clicked the "Advanced" tab and scrolled down to " HTTP1.1.Settings" and unchecked that box. After that I rebooted my PC and haven't had the problem since.

Edit: I didn't see your response, nigelinoz. Sorry if my answer was redundent. You're right, a lot of the people who get this error msg are using the Yahoo or Google toolbar.

Try NetScape or another browser. Or try another operating system.
Ok,Wild guess here,I bet you are using the Yahoo toolbar?

Uninstall it and that will fix the problem,it's a known issue and one that I get many emails about.

I don't know whether there is a Windows hotfix available or whether Yahoo knows about it but it happens a lot.
