I can open my e-mails but not my attachments, i get an error message from Internet Explorer saying " Internet Explorer has encounter a problem and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience" and it closes down. I have not been able to find where the problem is or how to fix it. Can you help?

Sorry, it's just part of the glitch.
The glitch applies to almost all areas of mail (including signing in, composing, receiving, sending, attachments, photos, etc.), original and beta mail, messenger and search problems, for the last few weeks.
BETA means TESTING !
You need to un-install Yahoo! Mail Beta and the new Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 (if you installed them) or work around them until they finish wrapping up a few remaining compatibility issues between them.!
