When using internet explorer to browse I find that in the last couple of months it has been crashing regularly. When I send error reports to Microsoft it says that the solution is to obtain the Y assist module from Yahoo. However, when I click the link provided- it just leads me to the Yahoo sign in page. Where can I find the answer to this?

Original Best Answer Here:
The Yassist module is used by the Yahoo! Toolbar. If you are having problems with it crashing your computer, reinstall the Yahoo! Toolbar. You can do this by going to http://toolbar.yahoo.com and click on the 'Download the Yahoo! Toolbar' button. If the problem continues after reinstall, try uninstalling from Start %26gt; Settings %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; Add/Remove Programs %26gt; Scroll down to Yahoo! Toolbar and uninstall it.
If the problem continues, you can go to the Yahoo! Toolbar help pages located at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/toolbar... If you cannot find the answer to your question here, just click on the 'Contact Customer Care' button located at the bottom of any question/answer page, fill out the form that loads, and click 'Send' to escalate this issue to the Yahoo! Toolbar customer care team.
