I already scanned using AVG but it detected no virus. Whenever I search at some point the error pops up. The Internet Explorer is still running and can still be used but the existence of the error is really annoying. Please help.

That's not a virus. It is microsoft's error reporting process. Microsoft tries to get all info regarding all errors occuring on their product so that they can "improve" it.
